AH-64 APACHE. Originally produced by McDonnell Douglas, this Boeing twin-engine army attack helicopter first entered service with the US Army in 1984. Since then it has become the primary attack helicopter of many nations. CH-47 CHINOOK. This American tandem rotor, heavy-lift helicopter was first used during the Vietnam War. Powered by two 4,733 horsepower turbo-shaft engines, it has a top speed of 196 mph which made it faster than any other utility and attack helicopter at that time. DE HAVILLAND TIGER MOTH. Is a 1930s biplane designed by Geoffrey de Havilland and was operated by the Royal Air Force (RAF) and others as a primary trainer. It is a very easy plane to fly with a stall speed of only 25 knots. Lancaster Bomber. Is a British four-engine heavy bomber used by the RAF in World War II. It became the most successful night time bomber of the war and flew 156,000 sorties. MESSERSCHMITT BF-109. Was a German World War II fighter aircraft that first saw operational service during the Spanish Civil War (1939) and later became the backbone of the Luftwaffe's fighter force. PAN AM CHINA CLIPPER. China Clipper (NC14716) was the first of three Martin M-130 four-engine flying boats built for Pan American Airways. In November of 1935 it was used to inaugurate the first commercial transpacific air service from San Francisco to Manila by way of Honolulu, Midway and Wake Island. SPIRIT OF SAINT LOUIS. The Spirit of Saint Louis was the first airplane to be flown solo, non-stop across the Atlantic. On May 20th 1927, at 7:52 a.m. this custom-built, single engine, single-seat monoplane flown by Charles Lindbergh departed Long Island, New York on its historic flight. P-51D Mustang Sweet Arlene.  Is an American long-range, single-seat fighter and fighter-bomber used during World War II and the Korean War. This P-51D model was flown by Lt. TUSKEGEE AIRMEN P-51D MUSTANGWere trained at the Tuskegee Army Air Field in Alabama. FOKKER DR.I TRIPLANE. Was flown in World War I by the famous Manfred Von Richthofen. The plane's tri-wing design allowed for superior maneuverability which was critical to WWI dogfighting. P-40 WARHAWK. Is an American single-engine ground attack aircraft made famous in combat during World War II by the First American Volunteer Group (AVG) of the Chinese Air Force in 1941-1942, nicknamed the Flying Tigers. B-24 LIBERATOR. The consolidated B-24 Liberator, first flown in 1939, began active service in 1941 and was the most produced American aircraft of World War II, with 18,482 built. The Liberator was used in every theater of the war and for a variety of missions from long-range bombing and submarine patrol, to transporting high priority cargo and VIPs. DIAMOND LIL was the 18th production B-24 built. Today Diamond Lil is one of two airworthy B-24s. Item#:MMS179. CESSNA 182 FLOATPLANE. Cessna 182 is a four-seat light aircraft with fixed landing gear that is powered by a 230 hp Continental engine.
