This model is the Glam Toy Products GTP-510 4 Door Sedan Car in Red and Cream Ambulance livery.

The model has a one-piece, pressed metal body, 103mm in length. It has been shaped with rudimentary representations of the body lines. There is no glazing - all the features are litho-printed onto the body. At the front are representations of the windows, head lights and grille, and printed numberplate – red lettering on a silver background [G.T.P. 510]. To the sides there are no outlines of the doors but door handles have been litho-printed below the appropriate windows with the right hand front side window showing the profile of the driver and the left front side window showing the profile of a Nurse. The lower sides are in cream with a red stripe running from the front bonnet area along the sides and across the rear. This cream panel has red flashes representing the door handles and a a small red cross painted where the two doors would meet. The upper body is in cream. The roof is cream with a panel with silver background and red "AMBULANCE" lettering and a large red cross printed in the middle of the roof. The rear bears the legend "Made in England" below the boot area and below the silver numberplate with red lettering reading "G.T.P. 510". A further small red cross is printed in the middle of the rear "door".

The original two part, pressed tin wheels are still on the model, mounted on steel axles with crimped ends.

The baseplate is a single piece, flat, pressed tin unit. It has been press fitted to the body and the edges rolled to hold it over the edges of the body. It has not been plated or painted. There are no manufacturer's marks or country of origin details on the base.

I believe the model dates from the 1950's.
