Kintsugi bowl of Japanese pottery. 12 x 4cm

It is broken and repaired with the Kintsugi technique. I can make this piece as many times as you want, but none will be similar to the other because every break and  repair  is different. Each one is unique and exclusive.

Kintsugi is the practice of repairing fractures in porcelain with varnish or powdered resin with gold. It follows that breakages and repairs are part of the history of an object and must be shown and not hidden. Bay that manifests its transformation, the scars embellish the object.

Kintsugi embellishes the break and treats it as an important part of the object's history, and the broken object is not something to be discarded, but as something more precious than it was before.
