What to avoid:
Using our services for the first time outside of the UK, using a large volume of your allowance (be that text, calls or data) in the EU and our other selected destinations (excluding the UK), or using our services and travelling within the EU and our other selected destinations (excluding the UK) for prolonged periods which don’t follow reasonable consumer holiday and travel patterns and behaviour. If you use our services outside the UK in the EU and our other selected destinations for 63 or more days in any four-month period and you cannot demonstrate prevailing use or presence in the UK this is likely to be deemed to be an unfair use of our services. When this happens charges will apply (see below), but we will always contact you 14 days before this time to make you aware of this. These charges will cease to apply when your behaviour is in accordance with this policy.

Q: I have received the SIM card, but there is no Bundle allowances on it.
A: To make sure that your SIM is delivered and maximize the duration of Bundle allowance, you will receive a brand new blank SIM card.

Q: I don't receive the SIM card.
A: SIM card will be sent by RM 1st class delivery and pop through your letter box. It's an unnamed small letter without tracking number. If you have a shared mailbox, such as company address, please check with reception. If you don't receive it within 3 working days, we will send you a new one or refund you in full if you want to cancel the order.

Q: Is your SIM card brand new?
A: Yes, it's brand new, blank SIM. 

Q: Can I use this SIM card on my phone?
A: The SIM card works on most unlocked phones, dongles and tablets. In order to receive a 4G signal, your device must be able to connect to 4G/LTE with the 800MHz(Band 20), 1800MHz(Band 3), 2100MHz(Band 66) and 2300MHz(Band 30) frequency. Most of the 4G phones are compatible with giffgaff's 4G. 

Q: How fast is the internet speed?
A: Giffgaff is running on UK O2 network, one of the best mobile networks in the UK. It's 4G/LTE the FAST mobile internet. If you don't have 4G coverage in your area, your device will pick up 3G signal.

Q: Can I use this SIM card in other countries?
A: Yes, giffgaff SIM card works in most countries worldwide. When you are roaming abroad, your device will be connected to a local network provider instead of giffgaff. Bundle allowances can be used in most EU countries(Roam Like Home). Please see descriptions above.

Q: What about Guernsey, Isle of Man, Jersey or Switzerland? 
A: From November 2017, visiting Guernsey, Isle of Man, Jersey or Switzerland will be charged at preferential rates: 15p/ min, 5p/ text and 20p / MB. However, receiving calls and texts is free. Please note: The preferential rates will be charged from credit and not Bundle allowances.

Q: I have a giffgaff paygo SIM card in hand, can you add the Bundle to my SIM?
A: Yes, but we can ONLY add the Bundle to a non-activated SIM. We need your Activation Code or SIM serial number.

Q: Where can I find my activation code or SIM serial number?
A: Activation code is printed on the SIM card package. If you lost your package you can still find the SIM serial number on the SIM card or simply just order a new one from us at no extra cost.

Q: Can I buy a new Bundle when it's used up?
A: This is Paygo SIM, you can always do it yourself (topup for a bundle). If you buy off us again, w
e will send you a new SIM card because we can only load the Bundle onto a new SIM.

Q: Can I cancel my order?
A: Yes, you can cancel your order before we activate your Bundle. Once Bundle is activated, we will not accept returns and no refund will be given.

You need to top up at least once every 3 months to receive free giffgaff to giffgaff calls. if you don't, other UK rates will apply as above. The free giffgaff to giffgaff calls last for 60 minutes per call, so you need to hang up and re-dial if you want to keep talking, without being charged.
