The Merida Nueva Granada series is a finely handcrafted classical guitar.
They're constructed using traditional fan-braced, solid Canadian Sitka spruce tops and beautiful Indian rosewood backs and sides.
The bindings are made of darkened mahogany, the rosettes are a classic design, hand-inlaid with incredible precision and detail.
The rosewood headstock overlay and highly detailed bridge are just some of the beautifully refined details you will find on these amazing instruments.
The NG-15 features a solid Sitka spruce top, rosewood back and sides. The inside is treated with a French oil rub that not only helps to protect the otherwise untreated woods but beautifies the look of the instrument.
The NG15 is a terrific instrument for anyone looking for an upgraded classical guitar. Its sound, playability and modest price tag make it a top choice in its category.
I have enhanced and fine-tuned the bracing to make it sound much better than the original guitar.
It has a few white stains at the back as a result of the painting process, but nothing that affects its beautiful tone. Please see the photos.
