Two lovely pencil portraits of a boy and a girl on paper by Mary Lee Dyess. One is an unknown freckle faced boy which is signed by Mary Lee Dyess and dated 1950.  The other is of a young unknown girl which is not signed or dated, but believe it is by the same artist as they were found together.  The boy portraits is 25.5" x 19" and the girl portrait is 23" x 17".  Both are yellowed, but the boy portrait is not torn and in much better condition.  The girl portrait is torn around the edges and has some tape residue within the portrait area as well as around the edges.  The boy portrait has tape around the edges only.  Mary Lee Dyess is a known Texas artist and information about her can be found online.
