CONDITION: Plaque is excellent.  There is slight wear to gilding on corners of frame.

This porcelain plaque was produced in England by Paragon China in the early 20th century.  It is signed by the artist Frederick Micklewright. The frame measures 10 inches square.  The porcelain plaque measures 4 3/4 inches in diameter. The gilded frame has slight wear to the corners.  The plaque is protected by glass. The subject is 2 Jack Russel terriers and another dog retrieving snacks.  The 2 terriers are intent on reaching the treats that are tantalizingly out of reach.  The painting is highly professional with fine detail and coloring. They appear to be in a barn or shed.  The subject matter is delightful and one you won’t often find.  #C685a
