Viscum album is a species of mistletoe in the family Santalaceae, commonly known as European mistletoe, common mistletoe or simply as mistletoe.
It is native to Europe and western and southern Asia.Viscum album is a hemiparasite on several species of trees, from which it draws water and nutrients.
The Latin word viscus as well as the Greek word Ixos refer to the seminal slimy texture of its fruits. 
Some people say that the English name of the plant "mistletoe" comes from two old English words "mistel" which means animal manure and "tan" which means branch. 
In reality, however, the origin of the word mistel remains a mystery.

Mistletoe has been used for centuries in traditional medicine to treat migraines, headaches and various seizures.

Properties:

Antispasmodic, hypotensive, diuretic, sedative, neurotonic, painkiller, anti-inflammatory, antihemorrhagic, healing, antidiarrheal, increases insulin production in the pancreas.


Making tea: 1 tsp of the Herb pour 200ml of boiling water and let infuse covered for 10-15 minutes. Strain the mixture and drink up to 3 times a day.
