Here are two vintage reproduction maps of unknown publication date.
  1. Map of the Americas ("Carte D'Amerique"), measuring 27 x 22-5/8 inches.  The map itself is in French, however, the legend across the top is in Latin, which roughly translates to "America and the accuracy of the empires, kingdoms, states & nations divided to the use of Louis xv of France the king".  The map includes Western Europe and West Africa along the right edge, and the Americas from Eastern Canada to the tip of South America.  There is a publisher's mark "A F" with a scepter-like symbol between the letters, however, I was unable to locate a name (see photo #5).  The copyright symbol is present, meaning this map was published after 1909.   The poster is in good condition, with some rumpling from long-term rolled storage, much bumping along the edges, and creases & a tear at the lower right corner.  Please examine the photographs carefully to assess condition.
  2. "A New Map of North America", measuring 21-1/8 x 17-3/16 inches.  This map is printed in English, and covers parts of Canada ("Parts as Yet Unknown") south to the northern tip of South America.  The same publisher's mark described above appears in the lower right corner of the map.  Again, the copyright symbol is present, meaning this map was published after 1909.  The poster is in good condition, with some rumpling from long-term rolled storage, some bumping along the edges, and damage, including a missing portion, at the lower right corner.  Again, please examine the photographs carefully to assess condition.
Please do not hesitate to contact me with questions or to request additional information/photographs.
