1: Finding the right spot to house the ACS to your aquarium
frame. The ACS needs to be level, adjustments on the
return hanger are inside the aquarium to pull up to the frame
the bottom adjustments are to help level the ACS
2: Lighting is all in place. You can move the light fixtures up
to view the algae screen on both sides
3: Return screen is removable for cleaning.
4: Hooking up a pump to the ACS. You have a union fitting
on the spray bar screen and a 1/2” barb fitting for 1/2”
tubing. Remove the union when putting the tubing
on the barbed fitting then put the union back together.
Pump size or flow over screen is about 150gph.
It depends on how available nutrients, nitrates and phosphates is in your tank on how fast algae will grow, if it’s taking to much out, you can adjust the lighting cycle.
