Description

An unusual double Sovereign case figure of an Owl with glass eyes.( Please see condition ! Eye missing )


There is a button to the top which can be pressed releasing the catch and the case opens. The interior has two sprung compartments to accommodate both a full Sovereign and a Half Sovereign.

Condition

Excellent condition dating around 1930-1950s. Unfortunately there is an eye missing so I was thinking of taking it to a specialist to sort out a local Jewellers. Im collecting it around the 20th July 2020 so at the moment the price reflects the imperfection .

Usual value is around £475.00 from London dealers that’s for a late 19th century 1880s Antique this is a later Vintage reproduction from the 1930-1950s
