This artwork was created by VIKTOROV VALENTIN PETROVICH (1927-1987) Highly famous Soviet poster artist, illustrator, designer and exhibition designer. Member of the Union of Artists of the USSR. Member of the Union of Journalists of the USSR.

Valentin Viktorov was born in Samara. Studied at the Moscow State Technical School of Fine Arts in memory of the 1905 revolution (1927–1931). Since the late 1920s - a member of the Youth Organization of the Association of Artists of Revolutionary Russia (OMAHRR). Member of the Great Patriotic War. He mainly worked in the genre of political posters.

One of the artist's first posters is dedicated to road safety (1935; "Stop. Be careful on the street!"), In 1947 he executed the poster "May 9 - the holiday of victory over Germany." In the postwar years he collaborated with the publishing houses "Art", "Fine Art", "Planet". He designed and illustrated magazines: "Knowledge is Power", "Ogonyok", "Soviet Warrior", "Wings of the Motherland", "Science and Life" and others. Since 1954 he worked at the All-Union Chamber of Commerce - the leading artist of Soviet exhibitions abroad - in Vienna, Damascus, Zagreb, Izmir, Ljubljana, Milan, Oklahoma (USA), Shanghai. From the 1950s he collaborated with the IZOGIZ publishing house, and since 1974 with the Plakat publishing house. Made agricultural and political posters. Many of the artist's late posters from the 70s and 80s are distinguished by oversimplification, laconism and sketchiness.
