This is 1 lot of 2 pieces of 1n542 which is a
matched pair of NOS 1N541 germanium diodes (total 2 diodes). Made by
Amperex in Holland. These diodes are of the old construction type,
unusually large, the glass body measures almost 1/2", and the part
number is printed on the body. Please see picture comparing this 1N541
with standard size 1N34 and 1N60 (these are not included in the
auction). Being matched pairs, they are great for fuzz guitar distortion
circuits, but they are also very sensitive for great crystal receivers.
The 1N541/542 is a gold bonded low forward voltage, low noise diode and
ideal for use as detectors. They are new and they work
