Whether you’re training in the morning, riding with the team on the weekend, or participating in the cycling event of the month, the Loma is your companion. It is the smoothest road bike, as bamboo absorbs up to 4 times more vibrations than a full carbon bike.
The riding position of our Loma bike is aerodynamic sporty. Depending on the size you choose, the frame gets longer and taller.
In addition to the options of dual chainring and road brakes, we have 50T single chainring assemblies with cassette up to 11/46 and road brakes or mechanical disc brakes.

*** Materials ***
Bamboo is one of the strongest natural materials in nature, it cans withstand up to 1ton/cm2 of compression force, this is twice the tolerance of steel.
Bamboo is also lighter making it ideal for bicycle construction. Neither bamboo or carbon fiber are subject to fatigue. Your bike can endure daily use and falls without losing its strength.
Naturally bamboo generates 30% more oxygen than trees, this helps break down Co2 generated by cars. It takes up to 15 years for a regular pine tree to grow, it takes bamboo as little as 3 years to reach the same level, making it a very renewable source.
Joints are hand made from unidirectional 50K Carbon Fiber. Carbon Fiber is an extremely strong, resistant and light material. As well as bamboo, CF is no subject to fatigue, so, in time, there will not be any acumulable damage on your bike. Using unidirectional fibers lets us design how the structure throughout the bike works.
The species of bamboo that we use for the bikes is commonly known as "natural steel" of "solid bamboo". Other incredible quality is that it absorbs as much as x4 more vibrations than carbon fiber, making our bikes, the smoothest bicycle (ideal for long rides).

We have been building frames and assembling bicycles for 11 years. In 2007 we began building bikes in my mom’s garage, we sold our first bike in 2010 and steadily we’ve been growing our catalog one model at a time. Today we have 11 models in every size, learn more about each one following.

Bamboocycles has certified its Racer frame according to United States industry standard by Microbac (testing company), running extensive tests consisting of 150 thousand stress cycles.
