specific as stock spec replacement when going on a 2011-2014 Polaris Ranger 500. This is a upgrade because it is the more proven design tied type with removable helix. The 2011-2014 Ranger 500 already has the bearing type primary clutch so this is a bolt on replacement . If it is a 2010 or older Ranger 500 it will NOT work unless upgrade the primary clutch to a bearing type primary ( I also sell ) to go with it.
