A Super Looking Edwardian Desk

In a lovely golden oak with red leather top

A good sized twin pedestal desk with very nice gallery back

It has nine large drawers in total each and two smaller ones at the top each with original brass back plates and brass drop handles and brass escutcheons

Each side has two flat panels , it is sat on a nice deep skirt with squared edges

A good sized top with the return at the back which has the columned back with two small drawer units to each side

It’s an absolute superb looking piece overall

The desk has been restored at some point and is in lovely condition overall

It has a lovely warm polished finish as you will see

It has good lines and shape to the side

It's a good looking desk that could work well in a variety of different surroundings wether among other similar items or as stand alone piece

Items of note

As with all items of age they can show signs of ware and use but can also have character that you will not always find in newer pieces

There is a little bit of marking around the drawers though use of closing and opening etc ( see photo )

The top has a little staining and a few marks on the edging ( see photo )

There is a little ware and marking to the skirts at the bottom just though time and use etc

There is no key with the desk

The desk is sat on castors below which makes it easy to move around

Overall the desk is in really good condition for its age

The desk is located near Beauly in the Highlands and can be viewed and collected from here or I can deliver anywhere within mainland uk for £60

Shipping of the item

I am now using a new end to end courier who collects from here every 7-10 days and delivers to clients the following week
