KC HiLiTES® 7" Round Chrome Euro Headlights (048D7A), 1 Pair Clear lens in a chrome housing. 2 x 55W / 60W H4 Halogen Bulbs are included. These headlights are a vast improvement over the original equipment's glass sealed beams. Advanced, computer-designed Multi-Surface Reflector Optics are used to create superior, high-performance optics that allow you to see much better at night while driving. Quartz-halogen bulbs are the industry standard for high-efficiency lighting. These high-tech bulbs use a combination of pressurized gases within the bulb to scavenge evaporated tungsten from the inside of the glass envelope, allowing the filament to operate at a much higher, more efficient temperature, producing brighter, whiter light. This necessitates the use of a quartz glass with a higher temperature rating. These bulbs have a much more consistent output over their lifetime than standard tungsten bulbs, which become progressively dimmer as they age. They also provide more lumens per watt, which is important when running multiple lights at once to avoid overloading the alternator and battery. We always recommend adding a relay to provide full battery voltage to any add-on lights, otherwise the lights may not provide adequate illumination due to voltage drop from poor factory wiring. Not to mention the risk of destroying the factory harness. It only takes a few minutes to install this relay and harness.
