Beautiful, classic mid-century (1960's?) vintage children's light green/mild chartreuse tweed wool overcoat from the English maker, Chilprufe. Children's size 4. The double-breasted coat features lovely details: button front, a mid-tone green soft woven fabric lining, a dark green contrast collar in a velvet with ribbed stitches, 2 pockets near the waist with flaps that mirror the same ribbed stitching as the collar, and a button-belt in the back. Made in England. Save for a tiny spot of erosion on the back tweed (see photo), the coat is in excellent pre-owned, vintage condition. Freshly dry-cleaned. A really amazing piece.
