The ratchet design for altering the angle of the support is very helpful and goes in small steps with good choice of angle. It is so simple to use and set up and take down again. The pins for holding the pages flat work best if you put them very near the inner edge of the page; they are quite strong so be careful to lift them on and off the page but they do the job all right! Very pleasing wood appearance and feel when handling. Lovely. Very pleased.

Feels well made and easily height/angle adjustment. Metal springs on the front hold the book/pages firmly but could be hard to adjust for an elderly/infirm person. I adjusted these (loosened the screws slightly) and now works fine for my 90 year old mother-in-law.

Would recommend to anyone need a solid well made stand.
