LX H30-R2 flow type water heater can be used as a replacement for the discontinued Rooster RSL/LT-3. It can be fitted in Chinese manufactured spa systems, whirlpool bath, hot tubs, and any other similar models. This water heater can operate with single or 2-speed water circulation pumps.
The LX H30-R2 is a 3kW (3000 W) water heater and can heat about 340 gallons of water. It has a pressure switch with separate wiring, an automatic and manual temperature control, an electric metal heating element, and stops heating during insufficient water flow. The tub capacity of the LX H30-R2 heater is at least over 339 gallons.
When fitting the LX H30-R2 water heater, see to it that there are no obstructions that restrict water flow. Also, check the filters and remove air from the tube prior to turning the power on.

How to Keep Heat in a Hot Tub with the LX H30-R2
Ambient temperature and the state of your tubâs equipment contribute to how quick water heats up or how fast it loses it. The same goes not only for hot tubs but in whirlpool baths and spa systems.
Where your hot tub is installed and how tepid the water is contributes to its ambient temperature. The higher the temperature of the water and of the environment will mean the water heater will not need to take a longer time to heat water to a comfortable temperature.
A comfortable hot tub temperature runs from 38â or 100â and 102â or 102â. It is recommended that water temperature must not exceed 40â or 104â.
As a water heater will take hours heating your hot tub, ensuring equipment such as jets, water pump and the LX H30-R2 flow type water heater are operating in tiptop condition. Placing a cover on the hot tub is a good way to keep heat from escaping when it is not in use.
When your hot tub is not keeping heat in, you can check the filter and spa circulation for debris and clean it.
