CONDITION:   Small chip on base of one vase gilded over at the factory.  It is in the back and hardly shows.

This pair of porcelain vases was produced in England by Royal Doulton in the early 20th century.  We believe the artist was H. Morrell.  The vases measure 6 inches tall and have a diameter of 3 1/2 inches.  The scenes mirror each other, trees facing each other on the right and left.  Charming hand painted landscapes of sheep in the meadow at sunset project a peaceful image.  The rims and bottoms are trimmed with gold.  What luck to find a matched pair.  #C844
