Philip was born into a poor family, even though he was related to Italian nobility. He was taught human culture by the Dominicans and began taking steps to become an Apostle of Rome. Working as a layman, he tutored and ministered before founding the Confraternity of the Holy Trinity. One of his most notable achievements was the founding of the Congregation of the Oratory, a society of secular clergy named for its musical selections, oratorios. b. 7/22/1515 Florence, Italy d. 5/27/1595 Vallicella, Italy <p>Patronage: US Special Forces Feast Day: May 26
