These are the top 30 main bolts that are largely used throughout the car. The most common place these are used is on the front end, starting with the hood hinges to the body, fenders and bumper brackets. Depending on your vehicle, they are also widely used on other body panels, under the hood, chassis and the interior.
They have a black phosphate coating (not painted), so the finish will last.
These are largely used on GM cars up to 1977 and full size trucks up to 1987. Most, but not all cars converted to both metric and standard in 1978 and full metric in 1981. Most, but not all full size trucks converted to full metric in 1988.
