Our unique multibend tube gives you everything you may need for exhaust repair and fabrication. The bends are all 1.5D and can be cut to suit. It even comes with a repair pipe sized to fit nicely over 2" tube. You can also select a length of tube to come with it so you can get everything you need in one hit.

T409 Stainless
T409 is great! Especially for exhaust applications. It can be welded and manipulated just like mild steel but lasts a lot longer.

T409 stainless tube characteristics
Grade 409 stainless steel is a Ferritic steel that offers good mechanical properties and high-temperature corrosion resistance. It is commonly considered as a chromium stainless steel, with applications in exhaust systems of automobiles and applications that demand weldability.Grade 409 steels are also available in highly stabilized forms, such as grades S40930, S40920 and S40910. The stability of these grades is provided by the presence of niobium, titanium, or both, in the composition of steels.
Grade 409 stainless steels have excellent resistance to exhaust gas and atmospheric corrosion, superior to that of 410 martensitic grades with 12% chromium and 3CR12. However, the corrosion resistance is lower than that of grade 430 steels containing 17% chromium. The surface of grade 409 steels is liable to mild corrosion, which limits the usage of steels for decorative purposes.

Every Exhaust Part value our customers and have a 30 day Returns Policy. In the unlikely event that the item is not suitable we always aim to work with our customers and rectify any mistakes. You may return the item to us as new within 30 days of receipt for a refund of the cost of the item(s) only and the buyer is responsible for return postage( As per ebay rules). Refund on faulty items will only be issued once the item is tested and proven to be faulty.
