I had my mechanic replace the blown motor, in my 2001 Ford Explorer Sport Trac, with a rebuilt one. He told me that the new engine did not have an oil pump or gaskets, so I purchased one online. Over a month later, he told me that he found the oil pump under the new motor. By then the 30 day return window had expired, so I was stuck with it.
