I am offering for sale, a series of etchings that were originally printed in a large volume entitled: "THE ART TREASURES OF AMERICA". The original etchings were created from a number of America's most prominent private art collections of the time, c.1880, that include the Morgan, Vanderbilt, Corcoran, Fearing, Havemeyer, C. P. Huntington, W. Rockefeller and more.

The Edition De Luxe was made up of 3 vols, comprised of 142 photogravures and one fold-out plate, each printed on china paper and tipped onto fine paper. They were printed in Philadelphia by George Barrie, Publishers 615 Sansom Street,[1880], on 12.5" x 17" pages and made from the inventories of many of the great private American collections, and include 60plates and many wood engravings.

Plates are by Charles Baugniet, W.A. Bouguereau, G.R.C. Boulanger, Alex Cabanel, J.L. Gerome, Hugues Merle, and many others.
