Vacheron Constantin 222 ref. 46003 Vintage Watch Poster Swiss Horology Wall Art Print

The Vacheron Constantin 222 is a significant timepiece that holds a special place in the history of the renowned Swiss watchmaker Vacheron Constantin. Introduced in 1977, the Vacheron Constantin 222 was created to commemorate the brand's 222nd anniversary. It was designed as a luxury sports watch and represented a departure from Vacheron Constantin's traditional dress watches.

The design of the Vacheron Constantin 222 was a collaboration between three notable figures in the watchmaking industry: Jorg Hysek, Gérald Genta, and Charles Constantin. Genta and Hysek, both esteemed watch designers, were responsible for creating iconic timepieces for other brands, such as the Audemars Piguet Royal Oak and the Patek Philippe Nautilus, respectively.
