We are offering a set of 3 Westmoreland Specialty Company No 5 3 Cat Plate. These plates began production on 1901 until 1952. Based on the cold painting process these would have been made early in the process. They are the same mold. One is milk glass with gold paint over the cats and a floral design in the middle. The other 2 are frosted clear plates. One has a brown wash on the back side with black cats that have blue eyes. The third plate has clear cats with gold eyes and scene in the middle. The milk glass plates have some stress cracks in the reticulated open lace area. I have taken an image of the area. The plates are all 7 inches across. The plates are all free of chips and fleabites. They all show wear of the paint. These are great antique plates!
