We take care to ensure this scale will more than handle the common spills of a kitchen counter and even work superbly in the harsh wet environment of an espresso machine drip tray. 

If you want to brew coffee correctly and consistently you need repeatability and measurability. Knowing the exact amount of coffee, the pour time and the quantity of water going into your brew allows you to hit the sweet spot every time.

Water-Resistant, if the scale gets wet it will continue to function, this means you can clean it under running water.

The My Weigh Barista scale is built to withstand a busy work environment. In the unlikely scenario where the scale stops working after getting wet, just give the scale a shake to ensure the water flows through the specially designed water drains. These drains direct water away from the electrical components and load cell.

Timer Operation
The My Weigh Barista scale has a handy timing counter with two different settings.

Automatic: Simply place the object you’re weighing onto the platform, press the timer button, and the timer will begin. Once you’ve removed the object, the timer will stop automatically leaving your readings on the screen until you hit timer again.

Manual: Press the timer button to start, and again to stop the timer

Programmable Auto-Off Feature
If you’ve ever had your scale turn off on you in the middle of important measurements, you’ll realize what a blessing this feature is. You can program the Barista scale to turn off automatically, or to stay on until you turn it off yourself.

Bright Backlit Display
This scale has a fancy backlit display to help you see your weight readings, even in dim lighting.

Stainless Steel Platform
This compact digital scale has a durable stainless steel weighing platform to make clean-up a breeze. Unlike gold or silver, stainless steel doesn’t scratch easily and keeps its shine without rusting or tarnishing.

Tare Feature
The tare button on the front of this digital scale can be pressed to “zero out” the weight on the scale. You can then add more weight, and the display will only show the weight of the item you’re adding. This sure is useful when you want to get the weight of each ingredient for that delicious recipe.

Protective Cover
The Barista scale has a protective cover that helps make sure you don’t accidentally scratch up the platform, or overload the scale when it’s not being used. And, when you’re using the scale, the cover can be flipped over and used as a nice, expansion tray for counting and weighing your stuff.
