One of the most enduring talents of the Miami Latin music scene, Cali Aleman has been regaling audiences in the United States and Latin America for over four decades with his immediately recognizable vocal prowess and magnetic stage persona. On his latest project, Cali teams with the highly influential Colombian musician and composer Adolfo Echeverría - whose successful music career stretches back to the early 1960's, when he first became famous for his trademark tropical cumbia rhythms. Echeverría’s composition "Amor Torero," provides the perfect showcase for Cali's passionate, dynamic vocals supported by a band comprised of some of Colombia's most talented musicians including Jhon Jaime Leon (piano, bass. arranger), Isaac Navarro (trumpets), Felipe Charris (trombones), and Fabian Picon (cajon peruano). Guest percussionist Hussein Abdala, a veteran of the Miami music scene, is also on board, providing some additional local flavor.
