Thick octavo, xviii, 24 plates, 626, 107, 64 pages, extra illustrated after the third book with 24 plates attached to blank pages and with 6 plates laid in. The whole bound in red leather with raised bands and gilt lettering to spine. Blind stamped decoration to both boards. The cloth binding of 'The Aryan Maori' is bound in at the front and rear. Marbled free endpapers. Hinges show signs of rubbing, some discoloration, previous owner's inscription, else in very good condition.
