Common club moss or running clubmoss also known as Lycopodium clavatum, is a herbaceous plant, that spreads like a green carpet in the forests of Central and Northern Europe, China and Mongolia, as well as in many other countries of the northern hemisphere and does not grow naturally in sunny areas. It has a bitter taste, and is a slightly aromatic plant.


The Common club moss is considered an antispasmodic, sedative - analgesic and diuretic herb with multiple uses. 

It Relieves gastrointestinal problems such as heartburn, bloating and indigestion. Treats urinary tract diseases such as urinary tract infections and kidney stones. It also relieves the pain of hemorrhoids when applied externally and in combination with other herbs It acts on liver and bile problems like stones. Its ability to control hyperthyroidism and cleanse the blood is also important. It is used as a painkiller in arthritic and rheumatic pains. Finally it stimulates heart function, dilates blood vessels of the heart and fights rapid heartbeat.


Making Tea:

Put 1-2 tablespoons of the dried herb into a cup of warm water for and leave it for ten minutes. 

Strain and drink up to 2 times a day.
