Harmony With Nature - The cremation urn is handmade from pine wood. No machinery or
artificial wood preservatives have been used to make it. The hole in the urn is
hollowed out by hand. The urn looks amazing because the wood is fire-tempered.
This is a time-consuming process. First, the wood is fired by a naturally
triggered fire. Then the burnt wood is hardened in cold water. Dust and tanning
residues are removed from the surface of the boards. Then the wood is carefully
brushed and treated with natural oil. The whole process enhances the natural
beauty of the urn and emphasizes the texture of the wood.
Slight cracks in the urn are a natural result of the hardening process and do
not have a harmful effect on the durability of the urn.
