       Berserker Rune symbol consists of several runes which could mean “a bear’s skin” or “a warrior fighting without a chain armor”. In Scandinavian mythology, Berserker is a member of the military religious corporation, the warrior of Odin possessed by the fury of battle. In battles, he did not use armor. He wore bear or wolf skin and resembled a wild beast causing panic in his enemies. Before the battle, Berserker drank a special beverage made of fly agaric which made him aggressive and less sensitive to attacks. The Viking took a shape of some kind of spiritual animal, often dressed in ritual clothing animal skins. Thus, the Berserker Rune necklace represents fury, great strength, quick reaction and insensitivity to pain.
