Hutt River Province, later Principality of Hutt River – Western Australia – cinderella stamps –

Illustrated Collector’s Handbook – English, 52 pages mostly in colour, listing all variants, the First Day cards and covers, printing and perforation errors, etc.

The handbook chronicles the stamp issues and includes short comments on the most important events throughout the existence of the principality.

The Principality of Hutt River came into being as a protest of Western Australian farmer Leonard Casley against extremely low wheat quotas, making it impossible to make a living from his farm. In their struggle to gain recognition from Australia and other countries, many inventive ways were tried and tested.

From 1973 to 2019, many stamp issues appeared and found interest by collectors.

In 2020, Prince Graeme, son of Leonard, announced that the territory of the Principality of Hutt River, closed to the public since 2019, was to be sold off.
