LINCOLN DINNERWARE SERVICE by Haviland Limoges Porcelain Hand Designed in France

Abraham Lincoln: White House China. Solferino pattern, as used in the Lincoln White House. These were ordered by Mrs. Lincoln from E. V. Haughwout & Company of New York during her May 1861 buying trip. The service was reordered by Presidents Johnson, Grant and Arthur. The Grant and Arthur sets were decorated in France by Haviland & Company and are so marked.
