Windsor pattern by Reading Hardware, concave Male pocket door mortise lock, circa 1880-1890, with the key, working perfectly.

MORTISE FACE:  The mortise locks each have a brass face with a length of 7 5/8" and a width of 1 1/8" wide and 1/8" thick. 

MORTISE BOX: The male mortise lock box is 3 7/8" deep from the outside edge of the faceplate to the back of the box.  The box is 5 1/2" high. 

BACKSET:  The backset (the distance from the front edge of the brass faceplate to the center of the key hole on the male lock) is 2 5/8". 

KEY: We have one key that fits perfectly, we can make another one for an extra charge if you need, just let us know before ending the auction. Extra charge for that is $25, so let us know ahead of time if you will require a key. 

Would give a nice period look to any single pocket door or would make the perfect mate to a Windsor pattern female pocket door mortise lock that has the and convex face!
