4 Antique Carved Solid Wood Dining Side Chairs with Cane Seat - BEAUTIFUL!!

These chairs are so beautiful. I believe they are made of walnut. Two of the seats were redone at some point in the past with synthetic cane. I paid to have one of the cane seats redone in natural cane and the chair hasn't been used since it was redone. The last still retains the cane that it had when I acquired the chairs. There is one ornamental finial missing, see pictures. The chairs are nice and tight, but I'm sure there is one or two joints that could use a little glue. These chairs were hand made, hand carved and hand turned. When you look closely you will see that there is slight variations from chair to chair in the carvings and turnings. They have minor scratches and scrapes that you would anticipate with chairs of this age. There are no splits or cracks or repairs in the wood parts.

These are delicate beautiful antique chairs that should be treated as such, preserved and loved for a lifetime.
