Usually with a subterranean trunk, this species has deep green leaves which can reach 2m in mature plants.  Natural habitat is grassy woodland under Eucalypts, often on sloping ground.

As with all cycads, male and female cones are produced on separate plants.

For sale are two plants similar to the plant in the 100mm pot and will be shipped bare-root wrapped in moist material.
