This listing is for an Antique Oriental Rug Fragment Reds and Blues Floral , Measuring about 41 inches by 51inches ( roughly  3x4 ft ) with Virgin Wool Pile on a cotton foundation.

Ends are reduced and bonded with a ribbon and glue.

It weighs 10.5 lbs net.

Sides have original salvage which has survived in perfect condition but carry wear to knot end near edges . The sides could use those ribbon supports on back ( a padded synthetic leather like ribbon which comes in like 2 inches wide, is whip stitched on back of sides every few inches which will keep sides flat , available at oriental rug supply businesses) .

The end work is done by using a 1 inch cotton blue black ribbon , sewn and glued on. It is overall in very good condition and could use some reinforcement in a couple of spots.

Fantastic thick lustrous pile made of virgin wool.

Soak washed multiple times by a textile conservator , last on 6/2/21 , it is clean enough to touch face with.

Fragmenting oriental rugs to fit a specific spot has been done throughout time ,

It will be kept and shipped folded inside out.
