Antique English victorian Fish Ponds Parlour Game.  1800s

This game belonged to my late grandparents and was one my grandfather played as a young boy with his family.

There are 6 wooden fishing rods and all 42 wooden fish pieces.

The game can be played with 4 to 6 players as teams.

When someone catches a fish they shout caught and they have to guess if its an odd or even number underneath. Full set of rules clearly shown on underside of the box lid.

For the age of this set it is in very good condition.

All numbers 1 to 42 on fish are still complete and clear to read, and all 6 rods are still in good condition with original strings and hooks.

The wooden box again and front label in good condition.

I should really keep this for sentimental reasons but I am having to downsize and a clear out is the only way forward.
