This auction is for a Signed and Numbered First Edition of "Marquet Dessine Des Animaux" by Marcelle Marquet.  Published in 1963 in a limited edition of 500, this volume is #45 of those 500.  In addition, this volume is signed and inscribed by the artist on the front endpaper (I have not seen another signed copy previously; this book does not carry a signature on the limitation page).  Captivating depictions of animals.  Text in French.  Hardcover with slipcase.  Faults listed above, otherwise tight binding and clean pages.  Purchased at auction.  Feel free to ask any questions.
