PAIR WW II RELATED CHILDREN'S BOOKS FROM THE "WE THE PEOPLE SERIES":  PEARL HARBOR & NAVAJO CODE TALKERS BY ANDREW SANTELLA.

Featured are two children's books from Compass Point Book's "We The People" series covering important topics. The books, both by Andrew Santella, are Pearl Harbor & Navajo Code Talkers. They were published by Compass Point Books in 2004-2005.

The hardcover books have reinforced library bindings and measure 7.75" x 9". They are, with one exception, in Fine ... brand new ... condition. Both books were deaccessioned from the Hanscomb AFB (MA) library. Although the front covers and spines show no "defacing" evidence of that fact, there is a neat barcode sticker at the top of the back cover of each book and on the inside, on the endpapers, which are otherwise clean as a whistle ... there is a stamp which someone tried to negate with a "swish" or by crossing it out, the library info.

I am very fussy and I broke my own rule here: never take in a library book. I made one of the very few exceptions I have ever made for three reasons: the content, the overall brand-new condition of the books, and the negligible effect the markings that are present have on the way the books "show". The content is fascinating and beautifully documented with photos. They are fabulous for the child who has an interest in history, as a homeschooling resource, or for the adult who wants a simplified version of the respective topics. I rescued them. As to our "standard operating procedures":  Our normal shipping & handling time is three (3) days.  We ship weekdays with the exception of US federal holidays.  We will ship with either free shipping or calculated shipping ... it depends on the given scenario.  Often, calculated shipping will include insurance - again, depending on the item.  Payment is expected at time of purchase or close of auction, whichever is applicable.  This also applies to "best offer accepted" transactions.  Non-paying purchasers or bidders will be blocked from future transactions.  The same goes for winning bidders seeking to have sales cancelled.  That said, prior to the end of any auctions, bids can be cancelled through the HELP section of eBay.  If respective bidders are found to be cancelling bids in an excessive manner, however, they will be blocked from future transactions.  Shill bidding is not tolerated and will be reported.

**Unfortunately, there are a few destinations to which we cannot and will not ship.  That circumstance involves a fluid dynamic the specifics of which may not be clear until point of sale.  If such is the case, we will allow the transaction to be cancelled at our discretion and without any negative reporting made to eBay.
