G = length of threaded part -  blank = 11.8mm , E = 12.7mm . G = 19.0mm , W = 17.5mm & Y = 25.0mm

P = Hex diameter P = 16mm , blank = 16/21mm

R =  R = resisted (S = Suppressed) identical , resisted are cheaper to produce so are more commonly used ) for radio interference

-   = seat type ;  blank = flat seat type with washer, F = tapered seat

3 = heat range (3 , 2 or 1 are cold) (4,5 or 6 are medium , 90, 70 very cold)

2 = centre electrode ; 2 = power tip (1 would mean standard tip )
