The Opteka 2-In-1 Tripod / Monopod can be used as a standard tripod or as a monopod. It has a metal ball head for ultra-smooth and fluid 360 degree panning with independent head and pan locks. Crafted from durable, corrosion resistant, lightweight aluminum magnesium alloy, so it’s great for heavy use and hectic outdoor shoots in extreme weather conditions. It comes with a carry case and has a spring-loaded bag hook (so that the included case can act as a counterweight in windy conditions). This amazingly versatile Opteka Tripod / Monopod has a reversible center post which allows you to mount your camera below the tripod for ground-level / low-level shooting and macro shooting techniques, allowing you to shoot subjects from a unique ground level view, and for capturing intense ultra-wide-angle scenic landscapes with lots of foreground. The combined features of the head’s fluid 360° panning, tilt and pan locks and bubble level allows you to create stunning 360-degree panoramas.
