Nice stamp showing a crisp and clear example 

of the first circular date stamp used in Lihue 

with the full town name visible.

 

This very rare postmark had limited usage

from May 1880 until December 1886. 

Meyer Harris # 238.02, and it is estimated that 

there are less than 30 known examples.
