PAIR OF QUICK RELEASE BATTERY CLAMPS/TERMINALS FOR 12v or 24v BATTERIES.            Pt.no. QRC124B

A pair of 'Powerpaqrt' quick release battery connecting terminals, one positive (red) and one negative (blue).  For use on batteries having standard tapered battery posts.

These are ideal for boats, caravans, campers, horseboxes etc for situations where frequent removal of the battery for recharging etc may be needed.   No tools or spanners are required in use, the terminals fix to the battery post by an 'over centre' cam clamping action achieved by lifting up the 'lid' then pressing it down after placing the terminal on the battery post.

They give a good secure connection to the battery post.   The cable connection is by a cable clamp which has two screws for tightening.  The screws do NOT penetrate the wire, the wire is simply clamped by compression.

When fitted and pressed down, the coloured handle also insulates the battery terminal, removing the danger of accidental contact and short circuit.

THESE CLAMPS MEET ALL THE REQUIREMENTS OF THE 'BSS' (BOAT SAFETY SCHEME.)

The clamps suit all standard tapered battery posts.   There must be 20mm clearance around the post to allow the clamp to fit on.

The clamps will accomodate battery cable up to 60mm2 (415Amp) size.

The clamps are suitable for engine start batteries, leisure batteries etc.

Size is 65mm long x 47mm wide x 25mm tall.

weight (pair) 160gms
