You are buying a truly stunning Vintage Hand Painted Oriental Vase that has been professionally converted into a Table Lamp Base. The decoration is depicting Chrysanthemum Blossoms and looks to be finished with Gold Leaf Detailing (which wasn't easy to fully capture in the images). It has been expertly mounted onto a Hardwood Base that has minimal wear. It's in truly outstanding condition with no visible defects and is in full working order. Exact age and origin is unknown, but I've sold a few similar over the years and I'd put money that this base was retailed through the lighting studio of the late Carlos Remes in London.
