With an original 6 line manuscript poem to the front free endpaper by the author with his signature and dated of Christmas 1939.

Octavo, 55 pages, finely bound by the author in a gilt tooled morocco binding with insignia of Louis the Ninth, whom the city of St. Louis, Missouri was named after. Top edge gilt. Also included is a grey colored slipcase which is larger than the book and most likely not original to the book because it is larger, however when I acquired the book it was in the case, so it is included. Some minor rubbing and wear, to the top board, else in very good + to near fine condition.
