TV dramatisation Movie of the events leading up to, and aftermath of, the signing of the Treaty between the British government and the Irish delegates in 1921. The narrative takes in the bloody War of Independence which followed the 1916 Easter Rising in Dublin and the savage Civil War which was a direct consequence of the Treaty itself.
